Bushcraft with Scouts June 2015
The Scouts held a camp craft day for our Beavers. Beavers learnt to set up tents, build camp gadgets to cook
with and how to make a fire with flint sticks. Great to learn from the experts.

Bag Packing Morrisons April 2013
The bag packing took place at Morrisons Supermarket and we
raised over £340 for the group.
Cosford RAF
Base 17th March 2013
 Scouts, Cubs and Beavers went to the RAF base at
Cosford to see over 70 planes of all kinds. Click on picture for slideshow
Fire Station and Falconry 2013
The fire station was excellent and contributed towards the
safety activity badge.
We had two very good evenings where the beavers found out lots
of interesting facts.
The owls were very impressive and we thoroughly enjoyed seeing
them fly.

Football Tournament September 2012
This was held in September after bad weather caused the
postponement earlier in the year.
Both teams played very well to win their competitions.
Animal Man, Forest Fun, Red Ridge and Training 2011
The beaver and cubs invited the animal man to come and show them
his snakes, reptiles and insects. Each year the Beavers take part in a day in the forest where they
learnt key skills like building a bivouac and lighting fires. This year
they also had the chance to go to
Red Ridge out door activity centre where they
had a go at the climbing wall, caving and the zip wire. The end of
the year involves a football tournament involving Beaver colonies from around
the area and the beavers have been training hard for the event. Click on each picture for
